Mike Spaulding was ordained to the ministry in 1998.  He serves as pastor of Calvary Chapel of Lima.


Mike holds an undergraduate degree in Organizational Management from Bluffton University, a graduate degree in Theological Studies from Logos University, and a Ph.D. in Apologetics from Trinity Theological Seminary, Newburgh, Indiana.  He is the author of: Day by Day in the Father's Embrace: A 366 Day Devotional; Daniel's Seventy Weeks: A Commentary on Daniel 9; Upside Down in America: What Went Wrong and How Do We Make It Right Again; Traveling the Road Together: Remembering God's Promises in Difficult Times; #MTPGA (Make the Pulpit Great Again): 12 Things Christians Can Do Right Now; Random Thoughts From a Disciple of Jesus Christ: Commentary on America’s Hot Button Issues; and commentaries on Matthew 1-9; Matthew 10-18; The Gospel of Mark; 1 Corinthians; and Psalms 121-150. He is a contributing author to Church & State: How the Left Used the Church to Conquer America; Social Injustice: Exposing the False Gospel of the Social Justice Movement; The Evangelical Dictionary of World Religions, and Daily Devotions With Calvary Chapel Pastors.


Mike is the host of a Monday evening live show – Dr. Mike Live on www.drmikelive.com as well as the host of Soaring Eagle Radio, a podcast found at www.soaringeagleradio.com He has written for several apologetics ministries and posts on his websites – Dr. Mike Spaulding (www.drmikespaulding.com).


His teaching ministry is featured on the radio program “The Transforming Word,” heard on radio stations throughout the Midwest US as well as at The Transforming Word Radio www.thetransformingword.com


Mike has been married to his lovely wife Kathy for over 37 years. They have four daughters, six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
