Ed Stetzer Uses Wheaton to Push Leftist Obama Politics

Updated: May 25

COMING OUT OF THE CLOSET FOR ED STETZER & SBC’S TRUE POLITICAL SELF IDENTITY?

You may not know who Ed Stetzer is, but his influence does impact you and your church. He has been VERY influential in the Southern Baptist Convention and in the evangelical church as a whole through his position at Lifeway Research and as his “Exchange” section in Christianity Today. If it were not for Leadership Network no one would likely have ever heard of Stetzer. But this can also be said of MANY of his friends like Rick Warren, Tim Keller, and a host of  others ranging from emergent heretics to neo- reformed dominion theology adherents. Stetzer is also a part of the Lausanne Movement which in 2010 began to go public with its latest version of global ecumenical Christian re-branding.

Stetzer has left his finger prints everywhere in Evangelicalism including on the Southern Baptist Seminaries and North American Missions Board . He influenced church planting through his work with Tim Keller, The Gospel Coalition. Stetzer, or the powers behind him, have redefined missions via a focus on urban church planting as a “missions strategy”. This was part of the “Mission Shift” Movement with emergent leaders like Brian McLaren. Today Stetzer has moved on from Lifeway to take the Billy Graham Chair at Wheaton and recently did a stint as the interim pastor of the famed Moody Bible Church.

THE BIG REVEAL

OBAMA FOUNDATION POLITICS IN PLAIN VIEW

Stetzer is now contributing & HOSTING a new POLITICAL ENGAGEMENT narrative from the Obama Foundation Faith Ambassador and Trinity Forum for 2020 election cycle.

STETZER AND THE COMING SBC RESOLUTIONS BATTLE

Stetzer surfaced in the midst of the recent controversies in the SBC as the head of the 2020 “Resolutions Committee”. Controversy continues after the 2019 RC produced a Resolution approving of Critical Race Theory and Intersectionality as”useful analytical tools with the Gospel.” The original Resolution submitted to the Committee was a condemnation of the Cultural Marxist tools. Stetzer will now Chair the Committee reviewing complaints and efforts to overturn “Resolution 9”.

PRO MUSLIM EVENTS AT WHEATON & GRAHAM CENTER

In recent months the Billy Graham Center at Wheaton has hosted some very disturbing events like the November 1st Neighborly Faith Christian/Muslim dialogue campus movement event to “bring Christians and Muslims together” helping young Christians overcome their “Islamaphobia”.

THE NOVEMBER 2019 WHEATON NEIGHBORLY FAITH EVENT

The  ACTUAL broader focus of the Neighborly Faith events and others like it is to redefine Religious Liberty through protecting the rights of Muslims and LGBTQ and subject the Constitutional rights written for American’s to these forces both antithetical to and intolerant of Christianity and the Constitution.

NOTE- SBC President (and close Stetzer pal) J D Greear made headlines last week after appearing at a more recent Neighborly Faith event in NC on stage with an Imam who is an outspoken hater of Israel.

Save that for another time.

GRAHAM CENTER AND OBAMA AMBASSADOR

THE NEW EVENT IS FOCUSED ON THE 2020 ELECTION, OF “CHRISTIAN WITNESS IN A PLURALISTIC SOCIETY".

IT IS PART OF THE PROMOTION OF TRINITY FORUM FELLOW AND LONG TIME OBAMA OPERATIVE MICHAEL WEAR.

Wear is now the Obama Foundation’s Ambassador the America’s Believers and THE MOVEMENT behind this event hosted by Stetzer & Graham Center was paid for by the billionaire founder of Ebay whose activism in journalism and political movements is focused largely on pro Muslim causes.

Politics, Polarization, and our Christian Witness Webinar

Michael Wear & Dr. Amy Black discuss principles for leading your people through the 2020 political season

About this Event

“Only a few months into another presidential election year and it feels like the stakes only continue to increase. Whether it’s online through social media or across the dinner table with family and friends, politics inevitably seep into every conversation. In such a climate there is the temptation for Christians to either try to check out completely or to jump into the fray with all the intensity they can muster. The result is that our witness can suffer as we become more concerned with party allegiance than Kingdom advancement.”

“Yet while even as politics is seemingly everywhere, Christians can struggle to understand when and how to engage. Moreover, the increasing spirit of polarization is a powerful temptation to begin to frame the way we see and treat others in us-them terms. For pastors and ministry leaders, this season comes with a gauntlet of obstacles. How do you lead an organization in the age of such politicization and polarization? Do you dare touch the issue of politics and risk alienating your people? If so, how can you lead your people to unity?”

“In this webinar, Dr. Amy Black, Professor of Political Science at Wheaton College, and Michael Wear, founder of Public Square Strategies, will help us think through the intersection of faith and politics. Drawing on their recent report for The Trinity Forum, Christianity, Pluralism and Public Life in the United States: insights from Christian Leaders, Black and Wear will explore insights gleaned from Christian leaders in how Christians can engage on politics. In doing so, this webinar aims to equip pastors and ministry leaders for the challenges of the upcoming political season. This webinar is sponsored by the Billy Graham Center at Wheaton College and the Wheaton Center for Faith, Politics, and Economics”

THE SHOW MUST GO ON AMID CORONA FEARS

THE SHOW MUST GO ON EVEN IN THE MIDST OF THE LIMITS CORONA VIRUS HAS PLACED ON GATHERINGS SINCE THE FOCUS IS ON THE 2020 ELECTION AND HOW EVANGELICALS VOTE.

Wear is also part of the leadership of The & Campaign which is working to alter Christian Voting patterns and “shake up the 2020 election” with the backing of pro LGBTQ billionaire Paul Singer. Singers influence in the GOP/ Romney 2012 arena virtually ended Republican opposition to “Gay Marriage". Today Singers American Unity Fund is THE go to partner in the “Alliance for Lasting Liberty" and the Mormon inspired “Fairness for All" LGBTQ & Religious Liberty “compromise”.

The & Campaign is also now deeply embedded in the Southern Baptist NAMB /Send Network Church Planting arm bringing it’s Obama Foundation political expert with it.The same is true with the coming Wheaton & Billy Graham Center event with none other than Obama Faith Ambassador Michael Wear.

CONCLUSION

Six Years ago it was difficult to prove what some had begun to suspect… that money from the far left and the POLITICAL influences that come with it, had made their way DEEP INSIDE the conservative Christian world. NOW there is no denying it. Those complicit with it are no longer even trying to hide it. Will Christians succumb to SIRENS SONG of the Obama Foundation, the Democratic Party, and globalist billionaire activist? Time will but it is not looking good for kool-aide drinkers and Christian media junkies.
