Dead in Sin or Dead to Sin?

In this episode of A StoneWall's Perspective Podcast, Alex talks about the importance of sharing the gospel with the world.

One of the greatest callings in our lives as Christians is to share the gospel! It seems as if the church has fallen away from sharing the gospel and the reason for that is because many people within the church don't understand the Gospel and its significance.

One of the things that I have learned as a Christian is that gospel clarity leads to gospel confidence. The reason why many Christians aren't sharing the gospel is because they don't have clarity on what the gospel is. In this episode I give clarity on what the gospel is.

I also discussed the fact that Christian should live a life that is different than when they did not know Christ! It seems as if the church is not how it should be, and it is because many people don't truly know Jesus. Romans chapter 6 is full of life and truth and how to live the Christian life.

Many people will say "I can sin because I am under grace." That is not true! Grace is not a license to sin, rather is is freedom from sin. We do not have to sin Ince we are under grace. That does not mean that we will not sin, but it does mean that we will have the ability to sin less.

If you do not know Jesus you are dead in your sins… If you do you know Jesus you are dead to your sin. There is a vast difference between the two, being the fact that if you are dead in your sins then you are separated from Christ. If you are dead to your sin you are separated unto Jesus. Which one are you?
