Hi, Christine. It's great that you're taking the time to research some of the things to do in Korea, and have a more fun experience. I'm not sure what your teens might be interested in, but I'm hoping that you could somehow find an activity to share with them and that might be a little different and unique to Korea. A tour of a manufacturing plant in Suwon would be interesting and fun for your kids. Another thing that could be fun for them would be to visit a museum or see a performance of an opera or a play in some of the cities around Korea, like Seoul, Busan, and Incheon. Maybe they could take a day trip to Jeju and spend the night on the island. There are so many different things to do, and you can see a lot of them in a short amount of time, so Korea is a great place for you to take your teens on a short vacation.
Also, one summer, my siblings and I went to Japan with my parents and spent two weeks in the southern part of the country. We visited a lot of historical sites, including the Tajima Copper Mine and the town of Nikko, but we also visited lots of museums, which is what I remember best about that trip. I think if you're staying in Seoul, you might enjoy seeing how some Korean people live in rural areas, as they have different customs than Seoul residents, and different foods to eat.
Could you also mention some places where teens would enjoy staying in Seoul? I see that you are not an avid traveler, so I can't imagine you have much knowledge of the area, and would suggest things like:
Hi, Christine. That's a lovely time to visit weather-wise, and a great amount of time to spend. I'm not sure what your teens are into, but they may enjoy doing some of the more cheesy and kitschy things in Korea, like visiting the Toilet Museum in Suwon, and seeing Cookin' With Nanta in Seoul. A road trip around Yeosu could also be fun, as it's packed with lots of natural attractions very close together. I remember not wanting to help my parents plan anything as a teen, but maybe show them some lists of interesting things to do around Korea, as ask them each to pick 3-5 things? I have such a list that I compiled over three years of traveling across the country: - -south-korea-bucket-list-adventures/
I have a SketchUp Pro 2017 license on my Windows 10 Home and a SketchUp Pro 2016 license on my Windows 8.1. I used to be able to download more than one file per license from 3D Warehouse at the same time. Now I can only download one at a time and I cannot download more than one SketchUp Pro 2017 license... any idea?
