The SBC supports HTTP/1.0, HTTP/1.1, FTP, SSH, SMB, SNMP, SSL/TLS, TCP/IP, Telnet, and SSH client and server. It also has USB 2.0, four memory banks, and two standard serial ports. The board also has integrated Ethernet and an on-board ARM 9 processor for system control, built-in support for the x86 compatible SBC Bus Pirate, and a serial console for debugging.
The system defaults to a serial console on the UART3 header, and a debug console on the UART5 header. These can be changed with --uart=x where x isthe port number for the serial console (defaults to 3) or UART (defaults to 5). For example, to set the debug serial port to UART3, use
The default UART for the serial console is the UART3 header. The default UART for the debug console is the UART5 header. If you wish to use UART5 as the default debug console, you can set the debug console with the --debug-serial= command line option, like so:
The above command will make the UART5 header the default debug console. The debug console can be used for non-netconsole output in applications like QEMU.
The 16 Mb of SPI Flash memory is SD/MMC compatible and contains the firmware for the TS-72XX SBC. SPI Flash isnot compatible with the SPI connections of the serial port. There is also a 256Mb NOR Flash part available and, as of 2.0, there are 64Mb user-accessible SDRAM parts available. SDRAM is not SD/MMCcompatible, but it is compatible with the MX5329 and 32-bit ARM926EJS CPUs.
Where p is the port in the -serial flag anduser is the name of the user you want to connect to. Note that youcan use the same redirection for other services, just change the portnumber. The socks5 proxy information can be found in the manpage of netcat.
