Start by setting up the basic one-time configuration options that require input the first time you log on to the MSM 760 controller. It would also be advisable to update to the latest version of production firmware code that is available through HP Procurve Support services.

I tried to reset in several ways: I tried to release the reset button after one long flash, 1 long and n short flashes where n is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Didn't change anything. Once I released the button, it became pingable in 1-2 seconds and went back to the recently described lighting mode.
I do not know if the firmware upgrade had anything to do with it as the problems did not start until about 10 days later. Errors are from seemingly random AP's in the network, but maybe 20-30% have the errors at any point in time.

I bought used MSM460 AP (J9591-60001:52-A, Bootware-220.127.116.11-22530), but it doesn`t have "Autonomus mode" button on web interface, only "Provision".If I try change mode from CLI, I see next message Validate image header ... OKValidate image personality ... OKValidate firmware supports autonomous mode ... OKVerifying checksum ... Boot: bad Data CRC
To solve the Problem, iI did a firmware upgrade on the controler to version 18.104.22.168-23594. But i can't manually update the APs who don't whant to connect, because they are too old so i can't download the firmware for free anymore. So i can't tell, if the firmware is responsible for the Problem. But all connected APs got their firmware update from the controler and work fine.
I wish to upgrade the firmware (from 2.3) as the Internet Access Policy doesn't seem to allow access, even when set to allow all IP's in a range to have access 24/7. Also some tabs are missing from the Firewall section as detailed in the latest downloadable menu.My problem is that the only firmware available on the 3com site is 3.0.1, and this states that Pre Shared Keys cannot be entered manually in this revision.(i) How can the keys be entered manually. I am only using it on a home network so this is all I need to do.(ii) Is it possible to downgrade the firmware if the new one doesn't work and are the old versions downloadable from anywhere? 2b1af7f3a8
